By the time we read again

Today I bring you a short reflection,
But I also bring you a toast.

I raise a glass to you, the reader of this newspaper.
You are the one who encourages me to keep moving forward,
even when strength falters,
even on days when it's hard to get out of bed.

Because, you know what?
You are important.
And I wanted you to know that.

Happy New Year 2026.

I begin the year with a simple reflection.

New year… new life, some say.
For me, new year means new book.
365 blank sheets.
Some will never get stained.
Others, however, will never be white again.

And that doesn't make them any less of a book,
nor less leaf.

On the contrary.
That is precisely his state,
their brands,
their words, whether written or crossed out,
which gives them value when they are reopened.

A value filled with nostalgia.
Of memories.
Life.

That's what I want this book to be someday.
May rereading it bring with it a moment,
an emotion,
a memory that deserved to be written.

That's why I invite you to do the same as me.
Take an old notebook,
a photo album,
a diary from years ago,
and returns to those moments lived.

Believe me,
That's what I want to be.

Nostalgia.
Pure feeling.
Memories filled with happiness.

So today I raise a toast.

Because of what we've experienced.
For what is to come.
Through the blank pages
and for those who are no longer here.

I raise a toast to continuing to be a memory.
Because it remains true.
