✏️ This is how a design is born at ServiArte: among scribbles, lines and a little bit of magic

There are things you don't plan. They just start when you're little, when your imagination explodes inside you and you don't quite know how or why. Ever since I was little, I've scribbled all over the house, even on the walls. My mother, whenever someone came to visit and showed us the house, would always say with pride, "And this is my daughter's work," pointing to that scribble on the white living room wall... because for me , everything was a blank canvas to draw on .

Over the years I realized that what I enjoyed most was representing reality . Not exactly copying it, but understanding it, taking it apart, and putting it back together in a way that made sense to me. A bit of technical design, a bit of curiosity, a bit of playing with lines like someone playing with building blocks.

There was a time when I was inspired by great artists… and other times when I simply let my hands decide what they wanted to draw that day. And, although I loved portraiture, to be honest… I'm terrible at it! So I started looking for another path. One that would allow me to be myself without forcing anything, without getting frustrated, without feeling like I was fighting with the paper (or the tablet).

And so, little by little, my style emerged:
a clear, simple, almost childlike line, but full of personality.
A way of seeing reality simplified , as if filtered through the eyes of a girl who just wants to have fun, express herself and create.

That style led me to something very special: my third collection , one of those that feels more like yours than any other. Not because the previous ones weren't, but because this one made me feel... myself .
My Mushroom Kingdom collection.

This collection connects me to the part of me that still believes in adventures, castles, strange worlds, and endearing characters. It takes me back to afternoons spent playing Mario and Luigi, to that innocence that never truly fades.

And how did this collection come about? Well, as always:
on a blank sheet of paper .
Only this time, the sheet was my tablet and Procreate was my stylus.

First, I downloaded images of the original characters. I needed to see their shapes, their features, their essence. I sketched them to understand how they were constructed… and then I let go. I let my imagination do its work. I didn't want to copy anyone or do what half the world does: draw the character exactly as it was.

I wanted to do something of my own.

And amidst scribbles, curves, and a black line that seemed to dance on its own…
The characters appeared .
As if they had been there waiting for someone to simplify them, distort them a little and give them a childlike, expressive and different touch.

And that's my design process.
Simple, very me, and full of that mix of nostalgia, freedom, and playfulness that always accompanies me when I draw. Before reaching the wood, before turning it into art, before everything… there is always a line, a scribble, an impulse that begins in the heart and ends in a drawing.
